New Products for the Holidays

New things are arriving to get us geared up for the holiday. Art Institute Glitters for that look of snow, Marvy Uchida's Snow Marker which puffs up with a heat tool, and of course all the Stickles including Tim's Rock Candy and Picket Fence.

Lots more will be arriving as we get closer and closer to Santa's visit down our chimneys.

What's New with Luminarte!!!!

Creative Imaginations announced that they have purchased Luminarte and our favorite Twinks and products may not be going away.... We are all on pins and needles to hear more.

Kodomo is Closing

We are disappointed by the news that one of our vendors, Kodomo, Inc. (USA) will be closing. The slow economy and the downturn in the stamping and scrapbooking market place have led them to make this decision The parent company, Kodomo No Kao in Japan will continue in business and produce stamps and other craft supplies. Although Kodomo Japan will continue in business, a majority of the Kodomo, Inc. (USA) stamp images and products were produced solely for the American market place. At this time, there are no plans for Kodomo Japan to continue to carry or produce the Kodomo, Inc. (USA) line.

We are also saddened that our good friend and Kodomo's designer, Stephanie Sheetz will no longer be affliated with Kodomo as they close their USA line. All of us will miss her smiling face and her creative energy.

For those of you Kodomo fans, MTM still has a selection of papers and stamps. Unfortunately, once they are sold out, they cannot be reordered.

A sad Day. Scenic Route is closing.

For those of you Scenic Route fans, I'd like to post a note from Sarah saying goodbye.....

"A Bittersweet Farewell ....

With a landslide of conflicting emotions we have decided to close the doors at Scenic Route. Our last 6 years doing business in the scrapbook industry have been both fun and challenging. Through the years I have learned so much, I know that we can do anything we set our hearts on with a little creativity and a lot of hard work. With that, I am looking forward my next creative adventure. Thanks to you, Scenic Route had growth year after year culminating in our best month ever in August 2008. Unfortunately, September 2008 brought economic hardships to our company, the scrapbook industry, and this nation. Thank you so much to all of you who have taken this journey with us and supported our efforts to bring fun and innovative products to the scrapbook industry.
